Privacy Policy
Tiaro: Daily Logic Puzzle · Last updated: October 3, 2026
Tiaro is a puzzle game made by Espadna ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have. The short version: there are no accounts, your game progress stays on your phone, and the app shows ads to stay free.
What stays on your device
Your puzzles, progress, streaks, statistics and settings are saved only on your device. We do not run a server that receives them. Your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google backup), if you use it, may include this data. Deleting the app deletes the data.
What is collected, and by whom
| Service | What it uses | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (ads) | Device advertising ID (only if you allow it), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, ad views and taps | To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. Ads are personalized only if you agree in the consent screen (and, on iPhone, in Apple's tracking prompt). Otherwise you see non-personalized ads. |
| Google Firebase Analytics | Anonymous app-usage events (for example: a puzzle was started or finished, a hint was used, a setting was changed), an app-instance ID, device model, OS version and country | To understand which parts of the game work and fix problems. These events never contain your name, email, contacts or anything you type. |
| Apple App Store / Google Play, and RevenueCat | Purchase records for "Remove Ads" with an anonymous, random app user ID | To unlock and restore your purchase. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google; we never see them. |
These companies process data under their own policies: Google, Apple, RevenueCat. Google explains how it uses data from apps that use its services here.
What we do not collect
- No sign-in, name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- No precise location.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing and challenge links
When you share a result, challenge a friend or invite someone, the app creates a text and link that you send yourself. The link contains the puzzle number, your solving time and a random invite code. It does not contain your name or any contact details.
Daily reminder
If you turn on the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled on your device. No notification server or push token is used.
Your choices
- Ads: change your ad consent choice in Settings → Ad privacy choices (shown where the law requires it), limit ad tracking or reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings, or buy "Remove Ads".
- iPhone tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Your rights: depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or state laws in the United States), you can ask to access or delete data, or object to processing. Because we do not hold your game data and the analytics and ad data are not linked to your identity, most requests are handled by the services above. Contact us and we will help.
Children
Tiaro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Data retention and security
Analytics data is kept by Google for up to 14 months. Ad data is kept as described in Google's policy. Data sent to these services travels over encrypted connections.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app's "What's new".
